Science Kinetic Theatre at Benson

As a prequel to the upcoming ‘Benson Science Week’ this month (9-13th March 2020), the school was visited by the ‘Science Kinetic Theatre’ on February 10th and they performed a musical entitled “The Light Fantastic”. Through this interactive and engaging Country & Western musical, children learnt all about the properties of light, how it travels in a straight line, how shadows are formed, how a periscope works, reflection, refraction and a mnemonic to remember the colours of the rainbow. This was a great way for children to find out about light and its amazing properties
