Y4 Central Library Trip

As part of Benson’s continuing drive to promote ‘Reading for Pleasure’, all three classes from Year 4 went to visit the Central Library in Birmingham city centre. During their visit, the children took part in a book hunt, read their favourite stories with their reading buddies on the ‘Giant Story Steps’ as well being able to visit the ‘Windrush Exhibition’ on the 3rd floor of the library, which had a display of poetry and artwork created by the Year 4 children. Parents were also invited to join the classes at the library and were able to read with their children and enjoy the exhibition.
