Year 5 Rainforest Experience

Year 5 were very fortunate to meet Dave Shaw last week. Dave is an intrepid ‘Rainforest Explorer’ who has visited the heart of many rainforests across the world. He shared his stories and explained to the children about life in the rainforests. The children were impeccably well-behaved and thoroughly enjoyed holding some of the rainforest treasures – tarantulas, snakes, millipedes and rare stick insects. The children will reflect their experiences in their topic work this half term.
