Last week Year 5 visited that National Space Centre in Leicester, they discovered six galleries including the iconic Rocket Tower and the UK’s largest domed planetarium where they watched a short film all about the Night Sky, their day was crammed full of space suits, rockets, satellites and meteorites. They visited Into Space, Our Solar System, The Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium and The Universe before they were able to go along to the gift shop and splash out on some lovely space treats. A huge well done to all the children that displayed exceptional behaviour on the day and wore their Benson badge with pride!
