Year 6 Trip to The Back to Backs

On Thursday, 6N visited the Back To Backs in the City Centre as part of our Learning Journey topic on World War 1. We changed into traditional costumes for that era. Our first job was to light a fire which we found entertaining! After that, we were lucky enough to have a tour of three houses that replicate those around in 1914. Did you know they used to fit five children into one bed?! It was a very tight squeeze! The whole day was full of information and we all had a fabulous day.
