School Life

At Benson children are able to start their day at 8:00 with breakfast club and all children are welcomed into school by 8:40. They have time to settle into the school day before they start formal lessons at 8:55. Every morning children are involved in English lessons, including a wide range of reading activities, and Maths lessons. Over lunch there are clubs on offer led by a skilled team of mentors. In the afternoon children take part in a variety of curriculum activities including PE, Art, Music, Drama, Computing, Science, RE and PSHE. After school clubs are run termly and offer a range of sporting and artistic opportunities. We are particularly proud of our sporting achievements - often coming first in interschool sports competitions. Benson pupils also represent the school at a number of music events such as 'Young Voices' held at the NEC .
