Year 6 Visit from National Memorial Arboretum

On Friday 23rd November, Year 6 visited the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas as consolidation on our WW1 topic. We were amazed by the size and variety of memorials there, and overwhelmed by the sense of loss. 6N were even lucky enough to meet an 82 year old who had been evacuated during WW2! We will always remember those who gave their lives so we could live in peace.
