Last week 4H and 4CH traveled on the metro to go to Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to see the world-famous Staffordshire Hoard, the largest collection of Anglo-Saxon gold ever found! In addition to seeing all of the recovered gold, we got to hold a replica Anglo-Saxon warrior’s sword, dress up in traditional Saxon clothes and play Anglo-Saxon board games. What a way to end our topic.
